The product

Instatools is a free browser tool for making Instagram posts. The public app runs locally in your browser. The API is available after you open an account with an email. We email a login link. You copy a key from the dashboard. Free accounts have a monthly render cap. Pro has a higher cap for a monthly fee billed by Stripe.

Instatools is not an AI generator. You pick a layout and edit it.

Instatools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

Your content

You are responsible for the images, text, and other content you load into Instatools or send to the API, and for anything you export or publish. You must follow applicable law and Instagram policies. Do not use Instatools to create illegal, infringing, or abusive material. We may revoke a key that ignores these rules or the published rate limits.

API keys

Keys are secrets. Do not share them. If a key leaks, rotate it from your account. We hash keys at rest. Login links expire after 15 minutes. Dashboard sessions live in Cloudflare KV.

Plans, billing, and cancel

Instatools in the browser stays free. API Free includes the published monthly render and design caps. API Pro is $19 per month unless we post a different price at checkout.

• Pro renews each month until you cancel.
• Cancel in the Stripe billing portal from your account.
• Cancel takes effect at the end of the paid period. You keep Pro quota until then, then the key returns to Free.
• Failed payments can pause or cancel Pro. Stripe will email the cardholder.
• We do not prorate unused renders. Refunds are not owed for unused quota, except where the law requires one. If a charge looks wrong, email nic@blacnova.net within 14 days.

Availability

Render uses a headless browser on Cloudflare. It can be slow or fail. We do not promise 100% uptime. If a render fails, that call is not counted against quota.

Provided as is

Instatools is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instatools and Blacnova Development are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the tools. Our total liability for the API is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 3 months before the claim.

Account deletion

Delete from your account, call DELETE /v1/me, or email nic@blacnova.net. We revoke keys, delete stored API designs, and cancel an open Pro subscription.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top is the latest version.
